ABOUT US

Everyone knew him as “Old Man Jones”, but he was my Uncle, my friend and my brother. He was ultimately responsible for my entering the motorcycle lifestyle in the summer of 1971 at the age of 13. Old Man Jones bought (God Bless You Aunt Shirley) two new Honda dirt bikes for him and his four daughters to ride. He rode the SL125 and his girls rode the SL70, …….for a while. The first time I saw my cousins riding that little Honda, I was in all the way to the gills; hook, line and sinker. Between Old Man Jones’ four and my two brothers, I stood on the side of the trail for many hours waiting my turn to take a few minutes on that little dirt bike. So here I am a little bit older and hopefully a little wiser bringing folks like you and me motorcycle accessories that are cool as well as functional. So, I’ve been Forged In The Wind ™ over the past 45 years. What’s your story? Who was your “Old Man Jones”? Tell us about it and maybe we will post your story! Ride to Live and Live to Ride
